Cancelling an Appointment
Medical, rehab, boarding, and grooming will have a $63.00 fee for the second incidence of a cancellation or no-show. Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. (Appointments that are rescheduled 24 hours prior to their appointment will be allotted 2 reschedules only before a $63 fee will be requested).
Surgery appointment cancellations that occur less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or no-shows will be charged a $100 fee. This fee is non-refundable and can not be used towards a future appointment.
Appointment Policy
All Rehab Appointments must be checked in by 7:45AM those checked in by 7:10AM can request that their pet have a pick-up time by 3PM.
All others cannot expect a pick-up time prior to 5:30PM. Please allow appointments to take 45 min to 1-hour from check-in time to check-out time.
If you are more than 10 min late for your appointment you may need to wait longer or reschedule. Annual exams are necessary for all medication refills, prescription diets, and heartworm/flea/tick medications.
Prescriptions and Refills
Please allow 24-48 hours for prescription refills when ordering from AHSM or our online store.
We offer discounts for ordering ahead and using a stored card. Ask about our Grab N GO program.
A written prescription is required for any prescription medications, prescription diets, or heartworm/flea/tick medications purchased from an outside vendor or pharmacy. We will not email or fax prescriptions.
Surgery: All soft tissue elective and emergent surgical procedures will have a laser surgical fee as part of the estimate.
