Macey grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where she worked as a veterinary assistant for two years before joing our team in 2022. While at AHSM she has enjoyed advocating for her feline patients using her knowledge of Fear Free techniques. She also educated families on the often subtle signs of pain in their kitties. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her partner and her dog, Scarlett, as well as spending time at home with her two cats, Moira and Malcolm. Macey was recently accepted into the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she will start their DVM program this fall of 2025. She looks forward to serving her community as a veterinarian!
